Trump said that as president, he must ensure that all domestic industries perform well, noting that crypto has become a mainstream industry. At the TRUMP token meeting, Trump addressed the top 297 holders, mentioning the CLARITY Act and promising to sign it immediately once it passes Congress.
The bill remains stalled in the Senate, with disagreements between the banking and crypto industries over stablecoin yield terms. Trump also criticized the banking industry, urging it to reach an agreement with the crypto sector as soon as possible. The White House Council of Economic Advisers released a report confirming that stablecoin yields will not harm banks. Additionally, Trump discussed the US-Iran war and former President Biden at the meeting, accusing the Biden administration of suppressing the crypto industry.
