According to BroadChain, on April 12, based on Arkham data and a report from The Information, SpaceX currently holds 8,285 BTC in its Coinbase Prime custody account, valued at approximately $603 million.
Although the market value has significantly decreased from its peak of over $1.6 billion in October 2025, SpaceX's Bitcoin holdings have not changed.
An analysis of transfer records by CoinDesk shows that the last significant fund movement occurred about four months ago, which was merely a rebalancing operation involving transfers of 614 BTC and 1,021 BTC between SpaceX's internal wallets. The holding size has remained stable since mid-2024.
SpaceX is currently the fourth-largest known corporate holder of Bitcoin globally, following Strategy, MARA, and Riot.
SpaceX has filed for an IPO, at which point its Bitcoin holdings will appear in public documents for the first time and may need to be accounted for at fair value under the new FASB standards effective at the end of 2025.
